I've eventually jailbroken my iPad, and I really want to make the most of its capabilities.
Do you guys recommend any customizations or alterations which really enhances the iPad experience?

Did your friend's dad also write the software that tells the Wii how to play video dvds...?

Instead of a loop, Id like to be able to just paint a broad stroke with a finger and see businesses under my finger pop up.

1997... Man, I swear whenever I think of the internet back then I get nightmares of Geocities (pre-Yahoo!), blinking neon green text, and dancing babies.

You need to put a colon before "Category", for example:
[[:Category:XYZ]]
Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks.

Yes. But remember once you do that you will not be able to modify the project if later you want to change the exported file - you will have to start all over.Ah yes, thanks. Maybe I will keep the projects but delete the events.

It was fun but like someonce once described it, it was meant to be an "introductory RPG" with colorful known characters, easy, linear gameplay mechanics mechanics, player intervention during turn based attacks (timed hits) and an easy to pick up story.
It is a fun RPG but hardly the best, I liked it better than the N64 Paper Mario though (haven't played GC Paper Mario).
I will say something though, Super Mario RPG is much more an RPG than TES IV Oblivion will ever hope to be... :)

Holy Crap! I can't believe someone would pay $2858.91 to be drug across the country by that crazy guy! Looks like they have hollywood types looking into filming this. I wonder if it's one of them bidding on it.

So I got my Airport Extreme recently and today I tried to connect to Xbox live and it was still on my old wireless network, so I tried to change the settings to the new Airport network, but the xbox wont see it!
It sees a lot of other networks just not mine, and I am able to connect to the internet just fine on my imac and macbook.
Any suggestions?

I caved and picked it up, too. :) My sense of rhythm is really bad. :o It might actually really help.
can you strum with the acceleromter??
"Strumming" in this version just means you tap down on one string and slide over to the adjacent string.
Playing this on the iPad, and its awesome. First iOS touch-based music game that I find challenging and fun. Wouldn't want to play it on slower hardware or on a smaller screen though.
On the new iPhone this game should be a dream. They are indeed relying on in-app purchasing. Once you get through their small amount of songs on all three levels you're going to want more I'd imagine.
It works very well, speed-wise, on the iPhone 3GS. The only issue I have so far with the screen size is figuring out how to control it -- I think using my left thumb and a couple of fingers from the other hand works.
I do think, ultimately, the in-app store will determine how the game does. Right now, I'm not super impressed with the music it's got, although I'm sure they'll add things. For $3 base, the game is really not bad...

Mostly Skyfire for my general browsing.
I like the ability to view Flash video and I like how it can easily be switched between iPhone view and Desktop view.

They should last much longer since they have no moving parts that can break down like a traditional spinning hard drive.
SSDs will slow down quite a bit if there is no TRIM or other garbage collection happening, which you definitely won't have to worry about after Lion comes out. Right now only SSDs that come with Apple computers have garbage collection support out of the box now.

Boxcar was just updated to allow for instant push tweets as well (instead of a 2-min pulling period). I think I'm going to keep using Boxcar because it allows for custom notification sounds when the tweets come in. For example, I like to hear a little "tweet, tweet!" when I get a message vs. the default "tri-tone" sound that the Twitter app offers.
3rd party notification apps will survive because people want features like this.
