I like the sky in #2, but as someone said "what's behind the fence". It's just not telling enough of a story. But the sky is a keeper for some PS work... ;-)
My vote is for #4. I can't really tell you why, it's just the one my eyes keep coming back to...
All of them have nice DOF. I guess they are at 18mm on your 18-55?

Is this really true? I have a job that requires me to move every few months....I was hoping to use a friend's address as he is permanently based at one location. Will this be a problem?

This is a really long document...but a few things that I glanced through are
1) Advanced degree in STEM + 3 years work ex = no numerical limit
2) Total EB category visa bumped up to 290,000
3) Dependents not to be included in numerical cap
All of this is good, but lets not get too happy so soon. Remember S.1932? We need to make sure that we keep the pressure on the lawmakers (who are pro-immigrants) not to budge this time in the conference committee. At the same time, we need to try and educate the anti-immigrant lawmakers that we are not ILLEGALs.
Do your bit: Recruit friends to join IV, volunteer by contacting lawmakers etc and contribute. Together we can win!

This hits right on the bulls eye. This actually truned disastrous in the long run and may very well continue to pull down the objectives of 21st century american competitiveness, unless they do something drastically different to attract and retain the talent.
Given the tax payer stimulus, which is only going to create 3 million blue collar workers and may be a state of the art infrastructure, which already is, will add fuel to fire and the bubble/boom will be visible only in different side of the earth. Its unfortunate, but highly possible as many trend analysts like Celente predicts.

Thanks again for all answers - Another Q that i had is - i am applying for a extension of my H1 Visa. My current validity is till June 2008. My 6 years will be completed in August 2009. I have a approved I-140!
My Q is - can i apply for a 3 year extension right now based on my 140 approval.? That is - can i extend H1 from July 2008 till June 2011..?? OR do i have to wait to complete all 6 years till i can use the benefit of the 140 approval for H1 extension?

Wife's EAD changed to "card production ordered", after a tiresome wait of almost 4 months. This was after 2 expedite faxes and 1 infopass.
My wife went for her biometrics today and what a surprise, her date of birth on the system was wrong.
She only had DL on her and no passport. So, the ASC staff took her biometrics but refused to correct her DOB, claiming that passport was needed.
So, we called up USCIS and upon description of the problem,were immediately transferred to level 2. Level 2 looked at the cases and confirmed that DOB was wrong on I-485. It was correct in I-765 and I-131. She said that the only way to correct it was to take infopass and present passport and DL.
It is now more or less clear that DOB mismatch has caused her EAD to be stalled for so long.I have already got my EAD.
Moral of the story : take passport for FP, infopass, etc. all the time.
Our EADs and APs were filed separately with I-485 courier receipt. What a mess !!

When you get insurance from employer, you pay with pretax money. With online policy you will have to pay with taxed money. Unless it is atleast 30% cheaper than one offerd by employer, I will not go with it. You may be able to get tax deduction later, but it has limits

There is one option which you can try. Take a online appointment at one of the consulates in Mexico. It costs $8 or so. They ask to send the 797 by fax before the appointment date. Presumably they ask for the 797 to do a PIMS verification. I do not know if that helps in confirming PIMS but for $8 , it is worth taking this additional step.

Please CONGRATULATE to the new President on Tuesday by all channels and DEFINITELY ASK the question " Now that you are the president, do you want to further punish us for being legal and sticking to the rules and hence make us wait forever in these long painful EB2/EB3-I long queues, . Mention about 5882, small admin fix.

does he want to give us some immediate relief. Dont forget to mention we can buy houses, not new job applicants, legal etc and HIgh-skilled.

What are you going to do to reduce the wait time for highly skilled immigrants waiting for GC?
